Layback-Hair Cutter-Biellmann Spin

Spin: Layback Combination
My friend Gema and I were working on our spins one day and came up with a different way to do the Hair Cutter and the Biellmann. First you do a a layback and then you reach your right arm back and grab your boot. After you have accomplished that you bring the blade up to your hair, hence the name "Hair Cutter". This move blends into the next part of the sequence, the Biellmann. Here, you pull your leg above your head and take your left hand and grab your boot. Pull your leg straight up and arch your back, creating an egg shape. Tilt your head backwards for a perfect Beillmann! Exit your spin, and you have now completed the Layback-Hair Cutter-Biellmann spin!

Now, for the video:

Wordless Wednesday

I'm A Klutz :)

Well, yesterday I tripped over my sister's shoes and twisted my ankle. Without skates on, I am a klutz! However, I did manage to get my foot into the boot so I could still do most of my jumps. Interesting skate day though. Please pray that my ankle will get better! :)
